The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
The Gibraltar Port Authority will be carrying out a live security exercise within the Port Estate on Friday 15 November from 09.00 hours onwards. This exercise will involve a number of essential service partners and it is envisaged that it will be completed by mid-day.
The Ministry of Culture will hold its Annual Art Competition for Young Artists in February 2014.
The competition is open to Gibraltarians and residents of Gibraltar attending school in years 9 to 13 (or College equivalent), as well as to young Gibraltarian artists aged up to 24 years old as at 11th February 2014. A maximum of two paintings and two sculptures may be submitted by each artist. Works must be original and not previously entered competitively, with the exception of non- winning entries in the 2013 Spring Art Competition and 2013 International Art Competition. Entries will be exhibited at the John Mackintosh Hall from the 11th to 21st February 2014.
It may be the 13th time The Royal Gibraltar Regiment has deployed to Morocco on Exercise Jebel Sahara, but for some new recruits, this is their first taste of a combined military exercise with an allied force.
The Gibraltar Football Association is happy to announce that the Gibraltar Futsal National “A” Team will be travelling to Krosno, Poland to participate in a UEFA Friendly Four Nations tournament. This will further help the team prepare itself for the UEFA Futsal EURO qualifying rounds in 2015.
