Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
His Excellency the Governor Sir James and Lady Dutton recently visited the Technical Services Department. Paul Balban, Minister for Traffic, Housing and Technical Services and Hector Montado, Chief Technical Officer accompanied His Excellency and Lady Dutton around the Department where they met all members of staff.
The visit started with the Minister explaining the different areas of responsibility under his Ministry, including Traffic and Housing.
The Gibraltar Tourist Board are once again hosting a promotional stand in the FIA World Touring Car Championship that takes place in the Moroccan city of Marrakech between today and Sunday.
