Apr 04 - RGP Seek Victims of NatWest ATM Tampering
Following a report received yesterday concerning tampering with NatWest ATM machines at Linewall Road and Main Street an appeal is being made for anyone who may have had money ‘retained’ be the ATMs to contact the RGP.
Both ATMs at NatWest on Linewall Road and those along the Northern part of Main Street were involved in the issue. Both machines endured damage to the cash dispensers, resulting in money not being issued.
Apr 04 - Childline Flag Day Raises Funds for Telephone Helpline
Childline’s annual Flag Day takes place today and, for the first time, the charity is appealing for online donations to fund their important work in Gibraltar. Donations can be made here.
If the charity manages to raise £4,000 this would fund their Telephone Helpline Service for six months, meaning they could reach around 300 people in Gibraltar. Their dedicated team of volunteers will also be out in force this Friday, at the usual collection points, so please give generously as their services are entirely funded by private donations.
Apr 04 - RGP Commissioner Travels as EAASP President
Commissioner of Police Eddie Yome has undertaken a series of meetings and presentations throughout this week in various countries as President of the European Association of Airport and Seaport Police (EAASP).
Mr. Yome initially travelled to Athens where he met the Director Aliens Police & HCG at the Hellenic Police Headquarters where he provided a presentation on the work of the EAASP.
Apr 04 - Pay Harmonisation for Interserve Employees
Interserve Defence Ltd and Unite the Union have announced that an agreement has been reached following many months of negotiations, to harmonise where possible, the pay structure for directly employed staff. The GDE&GS MoD pay parity proposal has also been taken into account.
