Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
The Royal Gibraltar Police have called on the community to support their anti-drink driving campaign this Christmas. Chief Inspector John Caruana said that workmates, friends and family members have a responsibility to ensure that people they know do not get behind the wheel after drinking during the festive season.
A new extension to St Martin’s School was officially opened today by the Minister for Education Gilbert Licudi. The extension was funded by the Kusuma Trust and includes a classroom, a therapy room, an office and a room for visiting consultants.

The Royal Gibraltar Police Drug Squad has arrested and charged a 42 year old local man on suspicion of drugs offences. The arrest took place on Wednesday the 4th December.
