The Ministry of Culture, as part of its development programme, recently travelled to London for meetings with the Royal Academy of Art. The Ministry was represented by the Agency’s Chief Culture Officer, Yvette Zarb and Head of Events, Seamus Byrne.

The previous administration entered into arrangements with the developers of Buena Vista for the relocation of the Moroccan hostel from the Stone Block by June 2012. However, there was no adequate or timely provision made for a suitable building into which the workers could be decanted.

Jan 29 - Cross-Frontier Apolitical Group To Present Dossier To Brussels
A cross-frontier apolitical group made up of local unions and organisations together with representatives from Spain will be presenting a dossier on the 18th February to the European Commission. At least one member from each body represented will travel to Brussels.
