European Commission Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares and UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, together with the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo, met in Brussels earlier today.
The Gibraltar Betting and Gaming Association has challenged the UK Government, following the announcements of a new law that will open the UK gaming market, meaning that the Gambling Commission will have to police the online sector ‘on a worldwide basis’, which goes against the current scheme that sees British consumers gamble with a limited number of licensed operators.
Gibraltar has been included as a port of call in the 2015 schedule of American cruise company Grand Circle Cruise Line , which will be introducing a new small ship tour named ‘Classic Cities & Moorish Traditions of Iberia & Morocco’.
