European Commission Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares and UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, together with the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo, met in Brussels earlier today.
As part of the on-going works being done at the Commonwealth Park site, works to demolish the existing steps that lead down to the Parade from Like Wall Road will be carried out on Saturday 16th March from 8am to 8pm. During these times, there will be no pedestrian access through this location.

Dr Liesl Torres, Principal Secretary of the Department of the Environment, along with Dr. Keith Bensusan, head of the Strait of Gibraltar Bird Observatory is currently representing Gibraltar this week at a conference on Biodiversity Conservation in the UK Overseas Territories. The meeting is being held in London at the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew.
The event is being attended by a number of NGOs, UK Government departments and representatives from most of the Overseas Territories, including Monserrat, the Cayman Islands and St. Helena, some of whom, Drs Torres and Bensusan have worked with in the past.
