The principal aim for his trip, however, follows a question the Earl tabled to new European Commission President Jean Claude Juncker regarding free movement in the EU, which the Earl claims Mr. Juncker believes is an ‘absolutely fundamental tenant of the EU’. ‘But there doesn’t seem to be free movement, or sufficient free movement between Gibraltar and Spain…’ the Earl insisted.

Aug 15 - Europa Paintballing Facility to Offer Coaching Sessions

news Gibraltar Paintballing Association will be opening its new paintballing facility ‘Europa Paintball’ at Lathbury Barracks on Tuesday 19th August at 10am. Minister for Sport, Culture, Heritage & Youth Steven Linares will be present to officially open and inaugurate the premises; Mr Reagan Lima CEO (Designate) GSLA will also be present along with members from Gibraltar Paintballing Association who will be running the Europa Paintball.

Aug 15 - NatWest Regional Manager to Visit GSLA Summer Sports Programme

gslaThe final Week of the Summer Sports & Leisure Programme will see David Bruce Regional Head of NatWest, sponsors of the Summer Sports & Leisure programme, visit various activities included in this year’s programme and meet Leaders on both Sports Train and the Stay and Play to discuss how this year’s programme has gone and if it has met its targets. The tour will take place on Thursday 21st August and will start at the Gibraltar Yacht Club at 9.30am.
