The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
Following the fire at Keightley House in Moorish Castle Estate yesterday, Independent MP Marlene Hassan Nahon says she was “shocked” to learn from residents that there are no fire alarms installed in any of the blocks. Ms Hassan Nahon says that, in addition, there are no fire extinguishers or sprinkler systems present or even any evidence like wall pegs showing that these fire warning and extinguisher aides have ever been installed or in action.
