European Commission Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares and UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, together with the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo, met in Brussels earlier today.
Unite has said that, while it welcomes some of the measures announced in the Chief Minister’s 2024 budget speech, it feels that the majority “does not go far enough to help those on minimum wage or those who are most in need in our community.”
The GSD has said that the Chief Minister, “in what must be a record breaking U-turn” has completely retracted his pollution levy budget measure which he now says is to be reviewed by the Minister for Transport and opened to ‘consultation’.
The Gibraltar Federation of Sea Anglers (GFSA) says it fully endorses and supports the stand that the Gibraltar Tuna Fishing Club has taken following incidents involving the Guardia Civil.
Together Gibraltar has said that the GSLP’s “latest attempt at policy-making shows everything wrong with their style of governance in one, disastrous package.”
