The Government has replied to Together Gibraltar’s statement regarding the delays affecting St Martin’s school and the accusations that it silences NGOs.
Man Who Stole Designer Clothing Jailed for 16 Weeks
A Romanian man who stole £1,520 of designer clothing from a shop on Main Street was jailed for 16 weeks yesterday.

TG Says Government Continues to “Shamelessly Attack Civil Society And Individual Freedoms”
Together Gibraltar says it would like to express its “anger and frustration” at what it regards as the “constant attempts by Government to silence NGOs and civil society groups that, in the exercise of their duty and their freedoms, do not wish to toe the GSLP line.” The party says that, to try to nullify the observations of the Special Needs Action Group, an NGO that has been doing enormously valuable work to support children with SEN and their families, only because members of the platform have political affiliations, “is nothing short of political repression.”
