Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
During a visit to Gibraltar last week, ahead of yesterday’s UEFA Qualifiers draw and this weekend’s GFA friendly against the Faroe Islands, former Chester footballer Danny Higginbotham spoke to YGTV about his decision to retire from football, but still continue to play the first set of the GFA’s official UEFA grade matches.
Today the Association of Retired Police Officers handed over a mobility scooter to Mr Wilfred Charvetto a retired police officer. Mr Charvetto has undergone an operation to his right ankle and will be unable to walk for the next eight weeks.
