European Commission Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares and UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, together with the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo, met in Brussels earlier today.
These photos were taken yesterday evening after a violent incident at Flat Bastion Road. A total of five people were involved in the incident, which left Flat Bastion Road closed for a short time.
Two Government housing scheme contracts have been awarded to GJBS and Casais (Gibraltar) Ltd, following the tender award procedure for the Aerial Farm site and the Coach Park Site. The tender sum awarded to GJBS was £76,098,315.31 for the construction of 564 flats, including 38 one bedroom flats, 166 two bedroom flats, 321 three bedroom flats and 39 four bedroom flats. Piling work on this project has already started.
Royal Gibraltar Police have now confirmed that last night's incident that took place in Flat Bastion Road was in fact a fight. 5 people were involved in the incident, which left Flat Bastion Road closed for a short time.
