European Commission Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares and UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, together with the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo, met in Brussels earlier today.
The Gibraltar Health Authority is encouraging parents to be aware of the signs of respiratory illnesses in young children, which result in increasing demands on healthcare services over the winter period. For the majority of children, these illnesses are not serious and they recover quickly following rest and plenty of fluids but, this year, a number of children have been admitted to hospital with RSV infection already.
The Government has sent its congratulations to Dean Chipolina for achieving a new personal best in competition for freediving at the 27th AIDA World Championship held in Cyprus. Dean forms part of the British Freediving Association. The Gibraltarian reached 86 meters of depth in just under a minute.
