European Commission Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares and UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, together with the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo, met in Brussels earlier today.
The RGP has warned the public of a ‘Malware’ scam that is currently circulating the Internet, falsely claiming to be from software companies like Microsoft Windows. This specific type of malware locks screens and requests members of the public to pay a fine to get their computers unlocked. The malware infects personal computers after users have accessed certain websites.
The GSD says it notes from the answers provided in Parliament by Minister Sacramento to questions posed by the Leader of the Opposition that there are 92 employees of the Care Agency who are currently on short term contracts of less than 12 months. 39 of these are British Gibraltarian and 53 are British non-Gibraltarians and/or non-British.
