The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
Following the Government’s recent statement on the development of the Gibraltar International Bank, the Opposition has insisted that the announcement raises very important questions. The GSD claims that the policy did not appear in the GSLP’s 2011 manifesto, as they claimed, but instead was a GSD policy. Opposition spokesman Damon Bossino today noted that the GSLP was ‘exclusively committed to the expansion of services to the Gibraltar Savings Bank.’
Monday will act as the host of Gibraltar’s first ever ‘Christmas Extravaganza’, which will culminate a three day shopping event organised by the Ministry for Commercial Affairs in conjunction with the Ministry for Culture, GFSB and Chamber of Commerce.

The RGP Drug Squad has arrested and charged 25-year-old local man, Karl Sene, of Renown House Laguna Estate for possess of 96 grams of Cannabis Resin and 6.5 grams of Herbal Cannabis.
