Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
An announcement made this morning will see pension professionals in Gibraltar soon able to offer Qualifying Non-UK Pension Schemes (QNUPS) from Gibraltar. This ability will allow Gibraltar to build on the success of its QROPS business, established last year.
The GSD Opposition has called on the Government to institute an independent investigation into the complaint by 35 trainees of alleged bullying by Joanna Hernandez, made last week.

Last night's friendly between the Gibraltar National Team and the Faroe Islands saw a 4-1 win for the Faroe Islands who are ranked at 51 by UEFA. The match, played at the Victoria Stadium, was kicked off with a home side score by GFA Captain Roy Chipolina within the first 15 minutes.
