Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
The Gibraltar Sports & Leisure Authority is working in partnership with the Physical Activities Association for Mature Older Adults (PAAMOA) to provide a programme of activities aimed at ensuring that we ‘Look After Ourselves’ and continue to live a happy, healthy and active lifestyle into the future.
Ahead of the European Commission’s visit to the Frontier, the Gibraltar Government has claimed that the Spanish authorities have cleared and cordoned off the area behind the Spanish customs check point, where cars are usually parked, in order to use that area for the purpose of searching cars travelling from Gibraltar to Spain.
The Chief Minister, the Hon Fabian Picardo, will leave Gibraltar this Sunday in order to attend the Labour Party Conference in Brighton. He will return on Monday evening.
Whilst he is away, the Deputy Chief Minister, the Hon Joseph Garcia, will act as Chief Minister.
