Statement by the Leader of the Opposition
On behalf of the GSD, the Leader of the Opposition, Daniel Feetham sends his sincerest condolences to Charles' family and friends on this very sad day. Whatever one's political views, no one will disagree that Charles Bruzon was a man with a kind and generous spirit, always very pleasant and amiable.

The Government announces with great regret the sad death of Minister Charles Bruzon MP.
The Rotary Club of Gibraltar have been busy this month both socially and raising funds for charity.
President Jennifer Stentiford and Rotarian Sylvia Leay started the month by their annual delivery of Easter eggs to the sick children in the Rainbow Ward of the hospital and to the children of the Women in Need refuge.
This was followed by a very successful Car Boot Sale in aid of the George Pusey Memorial Fund held on Saturday, 6th April at the Bayside Road car park. There were many participants as well as browsers and shoppers looking for a bargain. Over £600 was raised.
On Saturday 13th April the Rotarians held their Spring Ball in the Royal Gibraltar Yacht Club. The evening was well attended. Among the guests were Commodore and Mrs Clink, Father Mark Jackson, Command Chaplain of British Forces Gibraltar and his wife, Mayor Anthony Lima and his wife Carmen, Captain of the Port , Mr Roy Stanbrook, his wife and of course Mrs Emily Adamberry-Olivero, Director of Gibraltar Clubhouse Project.
