European Commission Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares and UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, together with the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo, met in Brussels earlier today.
The children of the Alameda Gardening Club have been working very hard this year to produce a wide variety of planting projects for everyone to see and enjoy whilst visiting the Gibraltar Botanic Gardens. As well as the decorative theme bed, which will be officially opened on Tuesday June 3rd, they have planted 2 further beds at the top of the gardens, near the Alameda Wildlife Park.
The Government is increasing its lobbying presence in Brussels and Washington in order to ensure that the profile of Gibraltar is heightened at a political level.
Voter turnout statistics will be posted online as and when they are made available this coming Thursday when Gibraltar goes to the polls in the European elections. The Government’s IT department, working together with the returning officer and other parliament staff, announced the trial project earlier this afternoon.
