aDenis Matthews of the Self-Determination for Gibraltar Group has addressed the UN Decolonisation Committee of 24 in New York.

Mr Matthews started by explaining the history of the Gibraltarian people saying that immigrant communities from Malta and Genoa settled in Gibraltar and have together created a community with a “unique identity” that repudiates Spain’s claim.

wild wednesdaysTonight will see the return of the student phenomenon, ‘Wild Wednesdays’ at local nightclub, Sunset Gibraltar. The midweek night of madness promises cheap drinks and quality music.

Although the weekday night of choice was formally Thursdays, Wild Wednesday was launched three years ago in an effort to host a night solely for students who have returned home from studying in the UK.
