The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
The Christmas programme of events at Mount Alvernia and other Care Agency elderly facilities is well underway. The events calendar was this year kicked off by the Santos Productions Choir where some 50 children sang at the Mount Alvernia Chapel much to the delight of the elderly residents and staff.
The Convent has had a changeover of Aide-De-Camp (ADC) to HE The Governor. Captain John Pitto has completed his attachment and returned to the Regiment with Captain Elvis Pearce joining the team to replace him.
The paramedic’s team of St. Bernard’s Hospital was today presented with a new vehicle courtesy of the Royal Gibraltar Police. The service vehicle was formerly involved in criminal activity but will now be used to respond to incidents requiring primary or secondary aide.
