Oct 02 – Number Six: “GSD’s Campaign To Derail The New Power Station Is Irresponsible”
The Government says that it has clearly explained that full details on the new LNG power station and storage facilities will be given when the full safety assessment on the final details have been received. Number Six says that any information given before this will be “inaccurate” and therefore to release any such information would be “irresponsible”.
This afternoon, the Commander of British Forces, Commodore Ian McGhie, presented RAF Gibraltar’s second Flight Safety Awards.
Lieutenant-General Edward Davis CB CBE has been appointed as Governor of Gibraltar and Commander-in-Chief to succeed Lieutenant-General Sir James Benjamin Dutton KCB CBE.
