Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
The Gibraltar Police Authority has now published the results of its Public Consultation Survey 2013-14. The statistical data gathered from this years survey compared with previous years is available from the website www.gpa.gi.
The Save Europa Point Group have released a statement regarding their petition against the proposed GFA Europa Point stadium. It reads as follows:
Over 5000 people have now signed a petition to prevent the destruction of Europa Point by the construction of a football stadium. This petition has been organised by a group of concerned citizens known as The Save Europa Point Group, and signatures have been collected on paper and online. These will be presented to the official body, The Development and Planning Commission (DPC) on Tuesday 8th April.
Following a report received yesterday concerning tampering with NatWest ATM machines at Linewall Road and Main Street an appeal is being made for anyone who may have had money ‘retained’ be the ATMs to contact the RGP.
Both ATMs at NatWest on Linewall Road and those along the Northern part of Main Street were involved in the issue. Both machines endured damage to the cash dispensers, resulting in money not being issued.
