Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.

Madam Speaker,
I have now been elected as a Member of this House for a period which has spanned 26 budgets; thirteen as a Member of the Opposition, followed by thirteen more as a Member of the Government.
In February, it was therefore an honour to mark twenty-five consecutive years as a Member of this House.
The Department of the Environment would like to inform anglers that the Bluefin tuna Open Season has been suspended as from 11am today Tuesday 2nd July 2024.
Following on from of a number of retirements of Airport Fire and Rescue Service personnel over the last 12 months a series of promotion boards were recently held.
‘An Audience With’ as part of the 2023 Literature Week organised by Gibraltar Cultural Services on behalf of the Ministry for Culture, will feature on GBC television over the summer months. The interview style programme features a selection of writers and subject matter and will provide interesting content and viewing.
