European Commission Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares and UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, together with the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo, met in Brussels earlier today.
The Government has recently announced the launch of the Colorectal (Colon) Cancer Screening programme. Under this programme, everyone between the ages of 60 and 74 and who is registered with the Group Practice Medical Scheme will be invited for screening every two years.
An announcement made by the Government today outlines their decision, along with the Ocean Village Group, to move to resolve the impasse agreement made with the former administration. The new agreement recognises that the Development and Planning Commission is independent of the Government and planning permission will be required in all instances as appropriate. It does not purport to bind Government Ministers and employees on the Commission to support any application by Ocean Village.
