Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
The Gibraltar Teachers’ Association has called on the senior management teams (SMT) at four schools to lift their ban on meetings on school premises “unconditionally.” The union says that it cannot accept the condition that SMTs be consulted before issuing press releases or be subject to any censorship from SMTs when speaking to the press.
