Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
Every year the Department of the Environment, Sustainability & Climate Change publishes an Annual Report providing an overview of some of the work carried out by the team, as well as significant information relating to our environment. This can be found on the Government of Gibraltar website under “Environment”, along with many publications of interest such as on Recycling, Energy Efficiency, our Nature Reserve and on our legal obligations as citizens as per legislation.
This weekend saw the first ever participation of a Gibraltarian delegation at the EYE (European Youth Event). This was a biennial event taking place at the European Parliament seat in Strasbourg, that provides a direct and unique platform for young Europeans to voice their concerns, ideas, and expectations from decision makers at the heart of European democracy.
