Reports published today in Europa Sur and other ‘Grupo Joly’ publications have made ‘entirely erroneous’ claims that the Gibraltar Government has enforced the obligation of employees in the private sector to disclose any previous criminal convictions to employers.
A Working Group made up of a number of representatives of the Small Boat Owner’s Club, the Big Game Fishing Association, the Federation of Sea Anglers, the Department of the Environment various other related associations, met this week as part of a work group set up under recently published Marine Protection Regulations.

At 10:30 am tomorrow morning, His Worship the Mayor, Adolfo J Canepa, will be receiving the Bethlehem Light of Peace on behalf of the people of Gibraltar at the City Hall. The Light will be presented by the Scouts’ Association (Gibraltar Branch), as has now become traditional, following its collection, this year, from the Movimiento Scouts Catolicos in La Linea de la Concepcion.
