The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
The RGP are currently recruiting for new Police Constables, exactly a year after the last intake started their recruit training. Those twenty recruits have now had about eight months’ experience of walking the beat so we asked three of them how things were going.

A meeting of the No Negotiated Outcome (NNO) Board chaired jointly by the Minister for the European Neighbourhood Wendy Morton and the Deputy Chief Minister Dr Joseph Garcia took place in Gibraltar this afternoon. The role of the Board is to plan for the eventuality of no agreement on the future relationship of Gibraltar with the European Union.
