Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
As co-chairs of The Gibraltar Contingency Council (GCC), His Excellency the Governor and Minister Licudi (deputising for the Chief Minister) met yesterday afternoon to review security and civil contingency matters.
The Government has replied to criticisms from the GSD about its record on renewable energy and said that it is preparing a number of initiatives that “will prove the Government’s commitment to its renewable energy target and to a sustainable future for Gibraltar.”
