The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
The GSD has said that the Government press release denying a relationship with Putin’s regime, raising issues about “arms deals” by the TG leader and asking Opposition MPs to clarify if they have any relationships with Putin and his cronies is “as bizarre in its tone as it is wild”.

- COVID-19 Permits will no longer be required for nightclubs, restaurants, cafeterias and bars.
- From Friday 18th March, testing will no longer be required for those entering Gibraltar via Gibraltar International Airport or via Gibraltar Port and air travellers will no longer be required to submit a Passenger Locator Form.
- From Friday 25th March, even unvaccinated close contacts of COVID-19 positive cases will no longer be required to self-isolate.
- COVID-19 positive cases, will have to continue to have to self-isolate in line with the established day 6 and day 7 testing regime
- Strategic changes to Gibraltar’s COVID-19 testing regime will be rolled out, beginning with increasing the capacity of private service providers.
The Government has confirmed that Gibraltar ambulances will only be able to transfer routine patients for treatment to Spanish hospitals if they are staffed by GHA employees who live in Spain or by EU nationals. This means that ambulance drivers and staff are being classed in the same way as the drivers of commercial vehicles with a requirement to register their employment status in the European Union.
