European Commission Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares and UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, together with the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo, met in Brussels earlier today.
Following wide spread reporting and speculation on an alleged bullying case within the ETB, Unite the Union has today made a public statement on the matter. They note their disappointment in the way the case is being dealt with, by the Government of Gibraltar.
Further to this afternoons announcement on further international acts to perform at this year’s Gibraltar Music Festival, local band Jetstream, singer Jamie Chiappe, DJs Racs & Lima and reggae group Heritage have also joined the bill, which boasts a varied selection of artists from across the musical spectrum.
Gibraltar Music Festival organisers this afternoon announced the last leg of international performers to appear at the event on 6th September. The last of the line up includes soulful British songwriter Ella Eyre, who featured on Rudimental’s number 1 single ‘Waiting all Night’ and has since been propelled in the charts with her own single, ‘Deeper’.
Each year the GSLA runs the Sports Leaders UK Junior Sports Leadership Award during the Summer Sports and Leisure Programme. The 7-day, 37 hour course aims to build confidence and teach 14 to 15 year olds, communication and leadership skills and techniques needed to plan and lead sports sessions in the future.
