The Self Determination for Gibraltar Group (SDGG), in conjunction with Gibraltar Cultural Services (GCS), has announced the launch of the National Day Poster Competition, open to local students aged 18 and under. The competition aims to find an innovative design which will be used by GCS to promote this year’s National Day Programme of Events.
The Government says it notes the announcement by the Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, that the Parliament at Westminster is to be dissolved and a General Election convened for Thursday, 4th July, 2024.
An fun day event jointly hosted by Dive Charters, Gibraltar Sub Aqua Club, Gibraltar Sub Aqua Association, the Department of Environment, the University of Gibraltar, Noah's Dive Club and GONHS will take place on Saturday June 8th at 10am at Camp Bay (El Quarri).
Saturday 25 May 2024 marks six years since the EU General Data Protection Regulation (the “EU GDPR”) came into force. Whilst largely similar, the EU GDPR was superseded by the Gibraltar General Data Protection Regulation (the “Gibraltar GDPR”) on 1 January 2021, providing a comprehensive and modern framework for the local data protection landscape.
