The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”

The Commandant Deuxieme Brigade d’Infanterie Parachutiste (2BIP), General de Brigade M’barek Moutaleb, of the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces, visited the Royal Gibraltar Regiment (RG) during their annual UK training camp Exercise Jebel Tarik.
The month long training exercise in Folkstone and Brecon has seen joint training with both regulars and reservists from the RG, a number of soldiers from 2BIP and elements of the Light Dragoons.
His Excellency the Governor Sir James and Lady Dutton recently visited the Technical Services Department. Paul Balban, Minister for Traffic, Housing and Technical Services and Hector Montado, Chief Technical Officer accompanied His Excellency and Lady Dutton around the Department where they met all members of staff.
The visit started with the Minister explaining the different areas of responsibility under his Ministry, including Traffic and Housing.
