Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
Gibraltar is in a longlist of so-called “crap towns” for inclusion in the second edition of the Crap Towns book. The list of 100 towns will be cut down to a 50 town shortlist to be featured in the book which is described as a guide to the UK’s “worst places to live.”
Yesterday afternoon at 4:24pm, Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to a son weighing 8lbs 6oz. The baby I third in line of succession and will be formally known as His Royal Highness Prince of Cambridge.
The baby’s name has yet to be announced. The Duchess and the baby remained at St. Mary’s Hospital overnight.
