Unite Announce Walkout Within Environmental Departments
Unite the Union says its membership from the Upper rock, cemetery and environmental monitors will walkout today in face of changes announced to their working terms and conditions.
GGCA To Commence Industrial Action As From Monday
The GGCA says as from Monday 9th May, staff of the Department of Social Security (DSS) will no longer be answering any phone calls or replying to/sending any emails which will impact the services provided to the public, including the paying out of benefits. The GGCA says this is because staff will be dealing with the back office work which has been building up since the evacuation of Governor’s Parade in January 2022.
The Convent Garden Open Day 2022
His Excellency The Governor, Sir David Steel, is opening the Convent Garden to the public on Saturday 14th May so that visitors can stroll through the garden and admire the plants, trees and heritage of the garden.
