The Government says it notes, “with disappointment”, the European Parliament’s objection, today, to the entry into force of the European Commission’s decision to remove certain jurisdictions, including Gibraltar, from the EU’s list of ‘high-risk’ third-countries with strategic deficiencies as regards anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (“AML/CFT”).
Later this year, the Gibraltar Youth Service will offer an Introduction to Youth Work Training Course for potential volunteers. Some volunteers have already started to enquire about the course which will run from 9-4 pm on both Saturday 1st October and on Sunday 2nd October at the Youth Centre, Montagu Bastion, Line Wall Road.

The Chamber of Commerce says it fully supports the action taken by the Government of Gibraltar in writing to the European Commission to bring to its attention the recent sharp increase in checks conducted by Spanish authorities on goods vehicles bringing supplies into Gibraltar.
