Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
The Minister with Responsibility for Industrial Relations, Steven Linares, met representatives of the Upper Rock, Cemetery, Monitoring Unit, EPRU, and Administration sections alongside their respective union leadership today.
The Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, will seek leave from the Speaker, Melvyn Farrell, to start the forthcoming session of Parliament with a statement on progress and developments in respect of ongoing UK/EU Treaty negotiations.
