Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
The GSD has today said that Mr Picardo’s administration “simply cannot be trusted” to deliver on an agenda of cracking down on waste or abuse or to deliver governance reforms, accountability or transparency. The party says they cannot be trusted to deliver because they have “flip-flopped on reforms and made empty promises” and are now “the problem and obstacle” to proper reform.
The University’s Centre of Excellence in Responsible Gaming (CERG) is set to host the 25th European Association of Substance Abuse Research (EASAR) Conference. The Conference will take place at the University’s Europa Point Campus, from 12th to 15th May 2022.
The Government says it has noted the statement from the GSD purportedly calling for the publication of a draft of the UK/EU Treaty before it is "signed up to".
