Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
After two years of virtual open days due to COVID-19, the Gibraltar National Museum is pleased to announce that it will be resuming its open days as normal this year. This year will mark the 19th in-person Museum Open Day, and the 21st if the virtual open days are added.
The Gibraltar Health Authority has announced that it will be entering into a long-term partnership, as part of a key project, to update and maintain all radiology and imaging equipment within the GHA. The Managed Equipment Service (MES) has been a long-standing and extremely complex initiative involving invaluable input from clinicians and advisors from Government and Central Procurement. The formal tender process has now been completed and the successful bidder, Phillips, has been informed.
The PJI Foundation says it is delighted to support four mental health charities in their efforts to afford the best provisions possible. The work done by these charities is invaluable and the foundation is proud to support them in their endeavours. This began with the “PJI 365 Initiative” where Darren Grech and Anna Baglietto swam a minimum of 1km every day of 2021, tallying in excess of 700km all swam in the sea.
