Bayside School’s Special Education Needs Department recently celebrated the work of students involved in the Awards Scheme Development and Accreditation Network (ASDAN), a British charity organization with awarding body status. It provides educational opportunities for young people, in particular helping learners to develop their personal and social attributes through its awards programme and qualifications.
The Ministry of Culture and the Ministry for Equality have been aware for some time that wheelchair users are unable to see parades and local events. As a consequence, the two ministries have been working together for the last year to identify a suitable viewing platform for wheelchair users.
Miss Gibraltar 2014, Shyanne Azzopardi, has signed the Official Entry Form to participate at the Miss World Finals which will take place on Sunday 14th December 2014 at the Excel Arena in London, England.
