Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
The Chief Minister confirmed that the Government would not at this moment impose any further public health restrictions. He said there was “no requirement to restrict your civil liberties in order to protect life or the GHA’s ability to protect life” especially given the low number of hospitalisations and the success of the vaccination program.
