The Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, today met with the Foreign Secretary, Rt Hon Lord David Cameron, at the Foreign Office in London in order to discuss the outstanding issues and matters in the ongoing negotiation with the European Union in relation to Gibraltar.
This coming Friday the 10th July sees the seventh anniversary of Chaima Slim’s disappearance. Chaima, who is now 26 years of age was last seen at around midnight on Sunday 10th July 2008 as she walked across the frontier into Spain.
The Government and Lloyd’s Register have reached an agreement to commence scoping requirements for an independent safety report on the new dual fuel power station and LNG storage and bunkering in Gibraltar.
