The Government says it notes, “with disappointment”, the European Parliament’s objection, today, to the entry into force of the European Commission’s decision to remove certain jurisdictions, including Gibraltar, from the EU’s list of ‘high-risk’ third-countries with strategic deficiencies as regards anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (“AML/CFT”).
A 24-year-old local man has been arrested by RGP Drug Squad officers on suspicion of being in Possession of a Controlled Drug and Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Supply following the execution of search warrant at his residence.

HM Customs continue the fight against drug smuggling. In an operation conducted over the weekend, Officers of the Flexible Anti-Smuggling Team arrested a local 29-year-old male for the possession, importation and possession with intend to supply of approximately 75 grams of cocaine.
