A man currently standing trial at the Supreme Court has said he never intended to go to rape a disabled woman in her sixties in her home.

The GSD has said that the “angry response” by the former Minister for Health, Dr John Cortes, to the concerns expressed to the Opposition by members of the public, “illustrates how out of touch” this Government has become. The GSD says that whether those concerns are expressed on social media or in meetings with members of the Opposition, “it makes no difference and they should not be brushed under the carpet.”
