The Government says it notes, “with disappointment”, the European Parliament’s objection, today, to the entry into force of the European Commission’s decision to remove certain jurisdictions, including Gibraltar, from the EU’s list of ‘high-risk’ third-countries with strategic deficiencies as regards anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (“AML/CFT”).
St Anne’s School will be taking part in its annual ‘Health and Fitness Charity Challenge’ tomorrow at 2pm. Pupils, staff, auxiliary staff, parents and friends of the school will be power-walking or jogging around the Bayside Sports Complex (athletics track) for forty- five minutes, after a warm up session led by Janine Pereira (GibFit Club, Piloxing MT). The school is aiming to raise funds for the Gibraltar based charity: ‘Action For Schools - Sierra Leone, (registered charity no. 246.), Cancer Research Gibraltar and MND Gibraltar.

BeautyCiti has started recruiting for Gibraltar’s Next Top Model 2016/17, a competition which aims to give women across Gibraltar the opportunity to win a top prize which includes a modelling contract with a top agency or management company.
Jessica Mendez signed up for the Mrs Gibraltar 2016 pageant on Friday evening, and this is the first time the mum to two boys is taking part in the pageant.
