The Government has received a letter of commendation from Mr John Koskinen, the Commissioner of the US Department of the Treasury in Washington DC. In a letter to the Chief Secretary, Mr Ernest Gomez, the Commissioner praises ‘the achievement of a remarkable milestone – the electronic exchange of financial account information between our respective tax administrations.’

Nov 23 - Upper Rock Nature Reserve Transformed Into ‘Jewel In The Crown’ Of Gibraltar’s Tourist Product

The Government says that Gibraltar’s ‘jewel in the crown’ tourist site, the Gibraltar Upper Rock Nature Reserve, has undergone a dramatic transformation during the past four years of this administration. Number Six says there has been “an unprecedented investment” in both the tourist sites and the Upper Rock, to turn what was largely a neglected and underfunded part of Gibraltar, into the star attraction of a much improved overall tourist product.
