    The Government says it notes, “with disappointment”, the European Parliament’s objection, today, to the entry into force of the European Commission’s decision to remove certain jurisdictions, including Gibraltar, from the EU’s list of ‘high-risk’ third-countries with strategic deficiencies as regards anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (“AML/CFT”).

Nov 06 - GSD Says It Is “Incredible” It Was Not Invited To HSL Meeting

The GSD has today said that it finds it “incredible” that the Government would bring members of the Health and Safety Laboratory to Gibraltar to make “very qualified statements” on the safety of the proposed LNG storage facility and yet would not invite anyone from the GSD to attend a meeting. The party says that this has happened “despite the fact that the party has been leading the debate on the issue of LNG safety.”
