The Government says it notes, “with disappointment”, the European Parliament’s objection, today, to the entry into force of the European Commission’s decision to remove certain jurisdictions, including Gibraltar, from the EU’s list of ‘high-risk’ third-countries with strategic deficiencies as regards anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (“AML/CFT”).
Gibraltar will release a very exclusive, limited edition Gibraltar gold coin struck in 22 carat fine gold to commemorate Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II becoming the longest serving monarch. The edition is limited to 63 coins, one for each year of her reign.

The Government has said that it is clear that each statement that the GSD issues on the question of loans from Credit Finance to the developers of the Risso Bakery site “is more ridiculous than the previous one.” Number Six says it is obvious that the GSD “simply have no idea what they are talking about nor do they have a clue about the way things worked when they were in office themselves.”
